Gladly Gray: Interviews & Essays of Interesting Women Who Are began at MORE.com in 2009 when I wrote my first 'Graying Gracefully' column.
Going Gray Though I Prefer To Call It Silver was written as a stand alone piece I thought was a good fit for MORE.com. I was right. Readers enjoyed my musings about aging so I wrote another one-also enjoyed. By the time I wrote 'Blame It On My Mother' column, I knew I'd struck a nerve by the number of comments each column elicited.
Gladly Gray is the book proposal birthed from that experience. I have a few well known women onboard and several more just as interesting but not so well known women have also said 'yes.' I plan to birth an ebook from the book proposal and when I do, I'll post it here.
Have I sold it?
Not yet but when I do, my subscribers will be able to see the arc of this author's road to publication. Birthing a book is not for sissies.
