I visited Shirley's site to add a comment to one of her blog posts and noticed this blog post. Lo & behold! this video offered a great fit for ME Quiet? & gave me an opportunity to showcase the memoirist & Shirley's site which offers great information about memiors & memoir writing.

I probably wouldn’t have found this book if it hadn’t been on sale at the Green Valley Book Fair, a huge book warehouse located close to Harrisonburg, VA. The hardcover price is 19.99, but at the Book Fair it was $5.00. Ach yommer, a bargain!

Marla’s new video blog just launched!

SBWC/Monte Schulz’s new novel

I don't think that prolific novelist Monte Schulz, also the new owner of the Santa Barbara Writers Conference, (www.sbwriters.com) would argue that he learned a thing or two about the craft of writing at this conference that is now relaunched thanks to his efforts. At Schulz's recent book signing, readers described The Last Rose of Summer as a 'woman's story.

Hmmm, a good 'hook' for many readers.
